Sacraments

Sacraments of Initiation

Baptism-
For the required parent interview, please call Deacon George Newton (419.782.2776). Instructions are the first Sunday and Baptisms the third Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in February, April, June, August, October, and December. Baptisms may take place during a Sunday Liturgy the other months by arrangement.

Eucharist-

Baptized children, having reached the age of reason (8yrs. old), can begin their sacramental preparation for First Eucharist. The children begin by preparing for First Reconciliation and celebrating their first confession. Parents wishing to register a child for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist can call Alyce Reinhart at the Parish Ministry Center (419-782-2776).

Parents having a child that has reached the age of reason, or is older, and not baptized will need to enroll their child in the RCIC process (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children). Please call Deacon George Newton (419-782-2776) to discuss this preparation process.

Sacraments of Healing

Reconciliation-
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered on Saturdays at 3:30 p.m. and privately by request.

Anointing-
To arrange for yourself or a loved one to receive the Sacrament of Anointing, please contact the parish office at 419.782.2776.

Sacraments of Vocation

Marriage-
Couples wishing to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage need to contact the parish office (419.782.2776) at least 6 months in advance.
